Isle of Man

Many people who have never been to the Isle of Man are not sure exactly where it is! The answer is that it lies in the Irish Sea, between England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales, less than 60 miles west of the Lancashire coastline. Isle Of Mans booming economy is largely due to the success of its financial services industry. The regulation is carried out by the Financial Supervision Commission & the Insurance & Pensions Authority. All investment business in the Isle Of Man are expected to exercise the ‘know your customer’ policy in order to minimise the possibility of being used in money laundering and drug trafficking activities.

The majority of banks in the Isle of Man extend their services beyond deposit taking, to establishing & administering trusts, and their main activities include deposit taking, asset protection, packaged investments such as unit trusts, and life assurance.


Channel Islands (Guernsey & Jersey)

This group of Islands nestled between England and France, are the most southerly Islands of the British Isles. Jesey is located some 100 miles south of mainland Britain yet only 14 miles from the coast of France.
